Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Felix's father Paul Felix is an ordained minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and discovered her love of sprinting while at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her first attempt, Felix was second in the 200 meter race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she attended the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making a junior world record by running 200 meters within 22.18 seconds. The year 2005 was the time she became the world's youngest champion in 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, defeating her longtime Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at her first Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo consistently placing within the top three places in all her races.
